Veda Laferne Studios is the collective home of the creative practice of Jane (Thompson Art) and the poetic voice of Veda Laferne. Jane is an abstract painter who discovered a deepening call in her practice within the poetic language and ideas of Veda Laferne. Veda (a courageous muse of the imagination) emerged organically alongside Jane’s daily writing practice over several years and it was here Jane realised a more expansive field of creation was possible for herself.
